On Saturday, July 31, from 2-11 pm, come celebrate the 100th birthday of Camp Blodgett located on the shores of Lake Michigan. Enjoy a full lineup of live music, festive yard games, and food and beverage for purchase. What better way to close out the month of July?
If you’re a Christian music fan, you’re not going to want to miss this three-day music fest! It takes place Aug. 11-14 at Heritage Landing in Muskegon and features tons of live performances from various artists throughout each day. You can choose to get tickets for a single day or a full event pass for all three. Either way, a good time is in store!
It’s back by popular demand! This free street music festival happens Saturday, August 14 from 1-5 pm. Take in 50 bands playing at 25 different host sites along Beechtree Street on Grand Haven’s East Side. Vote for your favorite performance, enter a prize raffle, and just plain enjoy some awesome live music!
Grand Haven is known as “Coastguard City U.S.A.”, and it’s easy to see why during this week-long celebration honoring the men and women of the United States Coastguard! From July 30 – August 8, the whole town is transformed into one giant party featuring special events for Coastguard members and their families, kids’ activities, a parade and carnival, music performances, an arts and craft show, cardboard boat races, and more! It kicks off with the arrival of several Coastguard ships and ends with a bang — literally! The last day is commemorated by some of the best fireworks around.
What’s better than a summer art fair? One that comes complete with good food and drinks, live music, kids’ activities, a car show — the list goes on! Head to Ross Park in Norton Shores on Friday and Saturday, August 20 & 21, to enjoy all sorts of fun for the whole family during this 8th annual festival!

On August 21 & 22, in downtown Holland, enjoy live music and dance performances from award-winning artists across the globe, try authentic food from various countries, and let the kids have a great time at the Children’s Fiesta area, full of fun cultural activities.
What are you doing August 12 – 15? Well, if you like blueberries, you better plan on being in South Haven for the National Blueberry Festival! From U-pick excursions to pie-eating contests, to live music, a parade, craft show, kid zone, and a whole lot of yummy activities, this festival is packed full of family fun, including a blueberry pancake breakfast that kicks off each day!
A celebration of beer, art, music, and the beautiful beaches of West Michigan, The Burning Feet Beer Festival takes place August 28th and features 80 craft beers from around the Great Lakes region, chilled and ready for you to try! While you enjoy your cold ones, you can also indulge in local food, music, and art, all on Muskegon’s Pere Marquette beach. Now that’s the way to close out a great summer!
