We are clearly rebounding in West Michigan. There is a lack of inventory, the low-ball offers that we are seeing are no longer quite so low and interest rates are plummeting. I have a buyer call me every day and a seller call me once a month—folks ARE looking and they are looking for deals. The great news is there are plenty left to be had if you are aggressive in your search and have the ability to move quickly when one comes your way. Get that pre-approval letter prior to shopping – no one will take you seriously without it. Unless, of course, you have the best letter of all: “Proof of Cash Funds.” This is our best year in three years, new construction starts are happening every day, sellers are making deals and buyers are getting great value.
